Importance and distribution
Oncopodiella comprises 13 species known on Ailanthus (Simaroubaceae), Alnus glutinosa (Betulaceae), Cocos nucifera (Arecaceae), dead perithecia of Lasiosphaeria spermoides (Helminthosphaeriaceae), Diospyros kaki (Ebenaceae), Juglans regia (Juglandaceae), Melicoccus bijugatus (Sapindaceae), Populus (Salicaceae), Quercus robur (Fagaceae) and rotten bark of Betula dahurica (Betulaceae). Oncopodiella is reported from Asia (China (Beijing, Guangxi, Shandong), Europe (Belgium, Hungary, United Kingdom) and North America (Caribbean (Cuba), The United States).
