Importance and distribution
Omphalospora comprises four species known on Acanthaceae, Astragalus (Fabaceae), Bupleurum rigidum (Apiaceae), Coronilla (Fabaceae), Eryngium campestre (Apiaceae), Ferulago nodosa (Apiaceae), Lathyrus sp. (Fabaceae), Stellaria sp. (Caryophyllaceae) and Vicia cracca (Fabaceae). Omphalospora is reported from Europe (Greece, Poland, Spain, Sweden), South America (Brazil) and The United States (Alaska).
