Importance and distribution
There are 22 Mycoporopsis epithets in Index Fungorum (2022). Some species have been transferred to other genera namely Mycoporum and Naetrocymbe. Mycoporopsis comprises ten species known on bark in Caribbean (Puerto Rico).
