Importance and distribution

Maireella comprises seven species but lacks sequence data. The species occur on Asteraceae, Malvaceae and Phyllocladaceae. Maireella is recorded from Australia (Queensland, Tasmania) and South America (Brazil, Colombia, Guyana).
