Importance and distribution
Maheshwaramyces comprises two species. Maheshwaramyces cocculi is reported on leaves of Cocculus laurifolius while M. pachygones is known on leaves of Pachygone ovata both within the family Menispermaceae. Both species have been reported from Asia (India).
