Importance and distribution

Macowaniella comprises two species known on Carissa sp. (Apocynaceae), Ilex glabra (Aquifoliaceae) and leaves of Myrsine melanophloeos (Primulaceae). Macowaniella is reported from South Africa (KwaZulu-Natal) and the United States (Florida).
