Importance and distribution
Kriegeriella comprises four species known on dead leaves of Quercus ilex (Fagaceae), Juniperus communis (Cupressaceae) and rotten needles of Pinus sylvestris (Pinaceae). Kriegeriella is reported from Europe (France, Germany) and North America (Canada).
