Importance and distribution
Keratosphaera comprises six species known on Dimerella subzonata (Coenogoniaceae), leaves of palm (Arecaceae), Porina sp. (Porinaceae), thallus of Mazosia phyllosema (Roccellaceae) and Trichothelium argenteum (Trichotheliaceae). Keratosphaera is reported from Africa (Tanzania), Central America (Costa Rica) and South America (Brazil, Bolivia).
