Importance and distribution

Cyclotheca comprises 17 species known on Centronia excelsa (Melastomataceae), Decaisnina brittenii (Loranthaceae), Licania sp. (Chrysobalanaceae), Ligustrum neilgherrense (Oleaceae), Loranthus sp. (Loranthaceae), Lucuma sp. (Sapotaceae), Miconia sp. (Melastomataceae), Ouratea sp. (Ochnaceae) and Symplocos kanarana (Symplocaceae). Cyclotheca is reported from Asia (India), Australia, Oceania (Papua New Guinea) and South America (Brazil, Ecuador).
