Clavariopsis aquatica

Importance and distribution

Clavariopsis comprises four species known on Acer saccharinum (Sapindaceae), Bauhinia purpurea (Fabaceae), Butomus umbellatus (Butomaceae), Eucalyptus viminalis (Myrtaceae), Pinus sylvestris (Pinaceae), Platanus orientalis (Platanaceae), Populus alba (Salicaceae), Quercus sp. (Fagaceae), Rhizophora apiculata (Rhizophoraceae) and Tamarix aphylla (Tamaricaceae). Clavariopsis is reported from Asia (Hong Kong, India, Iran, Japan, Malaysia), Australia, Europe (France, Poland, Spain) and the United States (California, Illinois).
