Importance and distribution
Acroconidiella is in the list of Quarantine pests of plants of Japan (IPPC 2016) and Korea (IPPC 2016). Acroconidiella comprises five species known on Eschscholzia californica (Papaveraceae), Glycine max (Fabaceae), Trichachne insularis (Poaceae) and Tropaeolum sp. (Tropaeolaceae). Acroconidiella is reported from Africa (Mauritius), Asia (India), Europe (Portugal), North America (Caribbean (Cuba), The United States), Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea), South Africa and South America (Brazil).
