            Material examined:  INDONESIA, Java, Djasinga, on living leaves of Jasminum sp. (Oleaceae), 1900, M. Raciborski (K (M) 177969 = IMI 214481, ex-isotype).

Species of Alina are saprobic and are involved in nutrient recycling in the ecosystem.

There are currently no industrial applications of Alina.

No disease has been reported from Alina.

The chemical diversity of Alina is unknown.

 

Diversity of the genus

Alina comprises only one species and was found on Jasminum sp. in Indonesia.  More species can be discovered in future studies.
