Importance and distribution
Trichothyrinula comprises two species known on mycelium of Schiffnerula (Englerulaceae), on living leaves of Wedelia reticulata (Asteraceae) in Caribbean (Dominican Republic) and on stroma of Polystomellaceae in South America (Ecuador).
