Importance and distribution
Pododimeria comprises four species. Pododimeria andina is known on leaves of Dacrydium fonckii (Podocarpaceae) in South America (Chile). Pododimeria gallica, P. gelatinosa and P. juniperi have been reported from leaves of Juniperus spp. (Cupressaceae) in Europe (France) and The United States (Virginia and Georgia).
