Nematothecium vinosum

Importance and distribution

There are seven Nematothecium epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), but one species has been transferred to Saccardomyces. Nematothecium comprises five species parasitic on Meliolaceae and Myrtaceae. Nematothecium has been reported from Africa (Uganda), Asia (India) and Australia (New South Wales).
