Importance and distribution

There are seven Dysrhynchis epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), but some have been transferred to Microcyclephaeria, Henningsomyces and Rizalia. Dysrhynchis comprises four species known on two host plants in Poaceae and Zingiberaceae. Dysrhynchis is reported from Asia (Philippines, Sri Lanka).
