Importance and distribution
Rhagadodidymellopsis comprises only one species known on Endocarpon pusillum (Verrucariaceae), on siliceous soil crusts in Europe (Spain). It grows on the thallus of the terricolous lichen in symbiotic association and obtains fixed carbon from the lichen photobiont (Fernández-Brime et al. 2020).
