Importance and distribution

Xenophacidiella comprises only one species known on leaf bracts of Phaenocoma prolifera (Asteraceae) in South Africa. Xenophacidiella is also associated with Eucalyptus gunnii (Myrtaceae) and other hosts (Varela et al. 2020).
