Importance and distribution
There are 35 species epithets in Index Fungorum (2022), but many have been transferred to Kirramyces, Readerielliopsis and Teratosphaeria. Readeriella comprises 22 species known from two plant families namely Myrtaceae and Proteaceae. Readeriella is reported from Europe (Portugal, Spain), Oceania (Australia, New Zealand) and South Africa.
