Importance and distribution

Misturatosphaeria comprises eleven species known on fallen decorticated branches, rotten wood, Robinia pseudoacacia (Fabaceae), dead branches of Dicotyledonae. Misturatosphaeria is reported from Africa (Kenya), Asia (Thailand), Europe (France), South America (Brazil, Ecuador) and the United States (Illinois, Tennessee).
