Importance and distribution

Oblongocollomyces comprises only one species isolated from Acacia karroo and needles of Pinus (Pinaceae) in Africa (Namibia), Senegalia mellifera (Fabaceae) in South Africa (Northern Cape) and Vachellia karroo (Fabaceae) in South Africa (Gauteng).
