Importance and distribution

Botryobambusa comprises two species. Botryobambusa apiculiformispora is reported from twig of Calamus andamanicus (Arecaceae) in Asia (India-Andaman Island) while B. fusicoccum is reported from Bambusa (Poaceae) in Asia (Thailand).
