Importance and distribution
Pycnocarpon comprises four species known on Garcinia dulcis (Clusiaceae), Hopea plagata (Dipterocarpaceae), Parashorea malaanonan (Dipterocarpaceae), Parinari corymbosum (Chrysobalanaceae) and Terminalia sp. (Combretaceae) in Asia (Myanmar, Philippines).
